As digital technology usage rises, so does the demand for human skills. These skills have been called "soft skills". However, they are the skills that drive hard results.

 

The trend is expanding quickly across all industries, businesses and professions.  LinkedIn’s 2018 Workplace Learning Report , having surveyed more than 4,000 professionals, found that  the number one priority for talent development in 2018 is soft skills. Other learning and development reports showed the same results.  While soft skills are keys to succeed in the digital age, especially the communication skills ranked as number one most desired skills, the reports share that it is difficult to find people with soft skills.

Human skills are not just the abilities to communicate and get along with others. They are competencies critical to master self, get along with and lead self & others. A person can't be successful in any endeavor without developing soft skills.  They are known as specific skills that can make or break your success today and in the future.
